The transparent, full-surface dressing fixative
Adhesive dressings require good adhesive properties, ease of use, comfort and effective protection against contamination. Hypafix® Transparent is a waterproof, full-surface dressing fixative that allows patients to shower and bathe without the need for additional protection or dressings. Furthermore, Hypafix® Transparent protects against friction, allows the skin surrounding the wound to be observed and is particularly breathable. Hypafix® Transparent consists of an exceptionally thin and highly flexible polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive.
Indications
- For the waterproof, full-surface fixation of wound dressings, including around joints and extremities
- For the waterproof fixation of instruments, catheters, measuring devices and probes
- For the hygienic fixation of ointment dressings during hydrotherapy
