Leukomed® Control sterile wound dressing is a germ-proof and water-repellent film dressing with a transparent wound pad.
Leukomed Control is a sterile wound dressing for dry or slightly exuding wounds, including surgical wounds, superficial and second-degree burns, skin donor sites, lacerations and abrasions. Ideal after surgical procedures.
Continuous wound inspection is an important part of preventing post-operative wound infections. The sterile wound dressing Leukomed® Control offers reliable coverage of surgical wounds and accidental injuries of all kinds, and thanks to the complete transparency of the multifunctional carrier film and wound dressing, consisting of separate hydropolymer gel islands, wound inspection with Leukomed® Control is possible at any time without changing the dressing. This helps to reduce costs and time.
Thanks to their reliable absorption capacity, the hydropolymer gel islands absorb exudate from the wound, securely seal it in and thus ensure an optimum moisturised skin climate. The multifunctional carrier film of Leukomed® Control offers reliable protection against germs and water while at the same time ensuring high water vapour permeability.
The wound dressing is highly flexible in the longitudinal and transverse directions, so that it adapts ideally to the body's contours and movements. The extra-wide adhesive edge also ensures a secure hold. All these properties enable the patient to resume their usual everyday activities at an early stage.

- Particularly elastic: This wound dressing is particularly elastic and adapts well to contoured body parts and joints to ensure reliable adhesion during movement and everyday wear.

Leukomed® Control is indicated for dry and slightly exuding acute wounds such as
- Surgical wounds
- Traumatic wounds
Duration of application: Depending on the condition of the wound, Leukomed® Control can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
Ingredients
Leukomed® Control consists of a semi-permeable polyurethane film coated with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. The gel islands of the wound pad consist of a transparent hydropolymer.
