Lansinoh® Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls - The fine gel pearls adapt perfectly to your baby's shape and thus provide maximum relief from discomfort.

The Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls from Lansinoh are anatomically shaped cushions. Filled with lots of small gel pearls, the pearl cushions adapt perfectly to every breast and provide comfort and relief when used warm or cold.

Heated in the microwave or in a water bath, the 3-in-1 ThermoPearls support the milk let-down reflex and thus facilitate the flow of milk. When cooled and placed on the breast, the pearl cushions can be used to relieve swelling, milk stasis and mastitis or to relax after breastfeeding or expressing. Thanks to the division into individual chambers, the cushions remain flexible even when frozen.

Lansinoh ThermoPearls are the only breastfeeding product of their kind that can also be attached to a pump, stimulating the milk let-down reflex and reducing the pumping time. Suitable for almost all breast pumps. The Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls are reusable and covered with a soft protective fleece. Material: PVC and sodium polyacrylate, BPA/BPS free.

ThermoPearls - Warming application on the breast

When applied warm to the breast, the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls relax the breast and stimulate the milk flow. Heat can also accelerate the triggering of the milk let-down reflex. Some mothers suffer from milk stasis, especially in the first few weeks, if a mammary gland or milk duct is blocked. In this case, we recommend talking to a doctor or midwife/breastfeeding counsellor, as heat can support the milk flow. You can therefore also apply the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls warm to the affected breast. Heating is very simple: just place in the microwave for 15 seconds in the protective fleece - done! The optimum application time is approx. 20 minutes. The pearl cushions remain warm enough in the protective fleece for this long. If you want to use the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls again, allow at least 20 minutes to pass between two applications.

3-in-1 ThermoPearls - Cooling application on the breast

When used cold, Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls can reduce swelling and tension. Especially in the first few days, the breast swells considerably when the milk comes in. It often takes a few days for milk production to adjust to your baby's needs. However, other reasons such as sudden weaning or your baby sleeping longer can also lead to feelings of tightness. Depending on your personal preference, you can cool the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls in the fridge or freezer. Tests have shown us that most mums find a cooling time of 2 hours in the freezer to be ideal. Find your optimum cooling time! The optimum application time is approx. 20 minutes. This is how long the pearl cushions in the protective fleece remain cold enough. If you want to use the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls again, allow at least 20 minutes to pass between two applications. Cooling the affected breast is also helpful in the case of inflammation of the mammary glands (mastitis). In this case too, talk to your midwife/breastfeeding counsellor or your doctor.

Lansinoh ThermoPearls - application on a breast pump

The Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls fit most breast pumps! Place the Lansinoh pearl cushion heated in the protective fleece around the funnel of the breast pump. Use the white press stud to connect the two ends of the protective fleece for a secure hold. The pearl cushion remains on the funnel during the entire pumping process. The Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls help to trigger the milk let-down reflex more quickly. Studies have shown that warm suction attachments on breast pumps accelerate the triggering of the milk let-down reflex (in contrast to room-temperature suction attachments). By heating the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls and attaching them to the funnel of a breast pump, they can help to accelerate the milk let-down reflex. This is how long the pearl pads in the protective fleece remain warm enough. Leave the product on the breast pump until you have finished expressing, even if it takes longer than 20 minutes.

Cleaning the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls

The Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls are easy to clean! The protective covers can be washed at 40°C in the washing machine. The pearl cushions can be cleaned with warm rinsing water. Please do not use aggressive abrasive cleaners as this can damage the pearl cushions. You can wipe the Thera°Pearl® 3-in-1 ThermoPearls with alcohol to disinfect them (alcohol is available from pharmacies).
