Pure Vitamin C12 Serum is an anti-ageing treatment that optimises skin quality and counteracts the signs of ageing (wrinkles and pigmentation). The serum contains 12% pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), which is known to make the skin glow. The face serum also contains the active ingredient salicylic acid, which removes dead skin cells. The result: the skin appears smoother. Soothing ingredients such as thermal water from La Roche-Posay and neurosensins ensure that the vitamin C serum is also optimally tolerated by sensitive skin. The serum is absorbed immediately and is also ideal as a make-up base thanks to the smoothed skin feel.

Active ingredients

Vitamin C: Pure vitamin C is the biologically active form of vitamin C. It has an anti-ageing effect that improves and brightens the complexion. It also reduces the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines.
Salicylic acid: Salicylic acid exfoliates the skin, refines the pores and acts against impurities. With an exfoliating effect on the skin, salicylic acid also has an anti-bacterial effect.
Neurosensins: Neurosensins have an intensive soothing effect on the skin. In addition, neurosensins are derived from a molecule produced naturally in the body, which counteracts the sensitivity of the skin and specifically reduces the signs of skin irritation.

How to use

Apply four to six drops of La Roche Posay PURE VITAMIN C12 Serum to cleansed face and neck in the morning. Gently pat into the skin with your fingertips. Avoid the eye area and rinse the eyes thoroughly with clear water immediately after contact with the serum. Always use the vitamin C serum in combination with a sun protection product or a day cream with SPF, as vitamin C makes the skin more sensitive to light. The ANTHELIOS Invisible Fluid SPF 30 from La Roche Posay, for example, is suitable for this purpose.
