La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C12 Serum: A vitamin C serum containing 12 per cent vitamin C, salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid for radiant skin and a refined, smooth complexion.

The Pure Vitamin C12 Serum is an anti-ageing treatment that optimises skin quality and combats the signs of ageing (wrinkles and dark spots). The serum contains 12 per cent pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), which is known for making the skin glow. The facial serum also contains the active ingredient salicylic acid, which removes dead skin cells. The result: the skin appears smoother. Soothing ingredients such as thermal water from La Roche-Posay and neurosensins ensure that the vitamin C serum is well tolerated, even by sensitive skin. The serum is instantly absorbed and, thanks to the smooth feel it leaves on the skin, is also ideal as a make-up base.

Active ingredients

Vitamin C: Pure vitamin C is the biologically active form of vitamin C. It has an anti-ageing effect that improves the complexion and leaves it glowing. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Salicylic acid: Salicylic acid exfoliates the skin, refines the pores and combats blemishes. With its exfoliating effect on the skin, salicylic acid also has an antibacterial action.
Neurosensine: Neurosensine has an intensely soothing effect on the skin. Furthermore, neurosensine is derived from a molecule produced naturally by the body, which counteracts skin sensitivity and specifically alleviates the signs of skin irritation.

Directions for use

Apply four to six drops of La Roche-Posay PURE VITAMIN C12 Serum to cleansed skin on the face and neck in the morning. Gently pat the serum into the skin with your fingertips. Avoid the eye area and, if the serum comes into contact with the eyes, rinse them thoroughly with clean water immediately. Always use the vitamin C serum in combination with a sun protection product or a day cream with SPF, as vitamin C makes the skin more sensitive to light. La Roche-Posay’s ANTHELIOS Invisible Fluid SPF 30, for example, is suitable for this purpose.
