How to use
- Insert a finger as far as possible into the oximeter and then release the clamp.
- Press the ON button and start the measurement.
- Read the result from the display after a few seconds.
- Switch off the power and remove the batteries for cleaning. Clean the outer surface of the device with a dry and soft cloth that you have previously moistened with a small amount of medical alcohol (75 %).
The following reasons may cause the device to malfunction: Direct sunlight on the sensor area. High-frequency electrosurgical equipment. Placement near a blood pressure cuff, arterial catheter or intravascular line. Hypotension, severe vasoconstriction, severe anaemia or hypothermia. Fingernail polish or artificial fingernails.
Indications: SpO2 and pulse rate measurements outside the normal range are not always a sign of health problems.
