Usage

1. Please disinfect the probe before first use.
2. Press the ON/OFF button.
3. As soon as a short beep sounds and the letters ‘Lo’ and a flashing ‘°C’ or ‘°F’ appear on the display, the thermometer is ready for use.
4. If the ambient temperature is below 32 °C or 89.6 °F, ‘Lo °C’ or ‘Lo °F’ will appear. If the ambient temperature is above 42.9 °C or 109.2 °F, “Hi °C” or “Hi °F” will appear.
5. As soon as the measurement is complete, a beep sounds four times and the ‘°C’ or ‘°F’ symbol stops flashing.
6. The highest temperature measured appears on the LCD display.
7. Once the measurement is complete, please switch the thermometer off by pressing the ON/OFF button.

Notes: Please note that body temperature readings depend on the measurement site. For this reason, the measurement site must always be indicated on the thermometer to ensure that an accurate temperature reading is recorded. Incorrect methods of temperature measurement may lead to inaccurate readings. Do not expose the device to hot water, high temperatures or direct sunlight. Do not drop the thermometer; it is not shock- or impact-resistant. Do not modify the device without the manufacturer’s permission. Clean the device using only water or disinfectant.
