Kasimir and Lieselotte Artemisia Annua plant extract is used as a room flavouring. The plant extract consists of the fresh leaves of Artemisia annua, organic alcohol and ultrapure water.

The annual mugwort (Artemisia annua) is, as the name suggests, an annual plant of the daisy family. The herbaceous plant reaches a height of up to 2.5 metres and forms a large number of basket-shaped partial inflorescences with individual yellow flowers.

The aromatic, fragrant Artemisia annua originally comes from the Chinese province of Chahar in northern China, where it is called Quinghao. It can now be found as a wild or cultivated plant in all warm summer regions of North America and Eurasia; Artemisia annua even grows in the desert. In Germany, the annual mugwort is found as a wild plant mainly along the banks of the River Elbe.

The leaves and flowers of Artemisia annua exude a strong aromatic scent, which is due to the high quantity of essential oils. The essential oils contained include alpha-pinene, camphor, limonene, alpha-terpinene, beta-pinene, carene, eucalyptus oil, artemisia ketones, copaene, caryophyllene, menthol and alpha-terpineol. Artemisia annua is also rich in bitter substances, where the relationship with wormwood becomes clear.

We grow Artemisia annua on our own field in Brandenburg. Sowing, harvesting and processing is 100% in our hands and is carried out by our trained team, guaranteeing the highest quality standards. The plants are cultivated and processed without the use of chemicals or additives.

Our Artemisia annua plant extract is made from fresh Artemisia annua leaves and soaked in extraction liquid immediately after harvesting. Before bottling, it is regularly shaken by hand and left to mature for at least three months.

Application

• For use as a room flavouring.
• Open the bottle and place the desired quantity of fragrance sticks in the neck of the bottle - you can determine the intensity of the aroma in the room by the quantity of fragrance sticks. For use in the fragrance lamp, fill it with a little distilled water and add a few drops of Artemisia annua plant extract. The quantity of drops also determines the intensity of the fragrance in the room.
