How to use
- For easier insertion, apply a little lubricant to the Soft-Tampon or moisten it with clean water, then squeeze it well to maximise its ability to absorb liquid.
- The easiest way to insert the Soft-Tampon is to squat or sit on the toilet, for example.
- Hold the Soft-Tampon with two fingers at the sides and squeeze it. The indentation on the underside forms a support for the finger to move the Soft-Tampon into place during insertion. With the other hand, open the labia and push the soft tampon into the vagina with one finger so that it moulds itself to the cervix.
- Removal: The Soft-Tampon has an integrated grip tab for easy removal, which is easy to grasp with one finger. Alternatively, the Soft-Tampon can also be removed by gripping one of the two wings. Removal is made easier if you squat down, as this shortens the depth of the vagina. If you also apply pressure to the soft tampon, it will come further forwards and be easier to reach. A vaginal douche can also be helpful, as a fully soaked soft tampon automatically slides downwards and is therefore easier to grasp. Don't forget to remove the last soft tampon at the end of your period.
- Wearing time: Change the Soft-Tampon at regular intervals. Adapt the wearing time of the Soft-Tampon to the changing intensity of your menstruation. The maximum wearing time should be 8 hours. However, we recommend changing after 4 to 6 hours. If you have heavy bleeding, you should change the Soft-Tampons every 3 to 5 hours. You reduce the risk of infection if you change the Soft-Tampon immediately after visiting a swimming pool or having intimate intercourse without a condom.
- As a general rule, soft tampons are not contraceptives. They are suitable for use with condoms without hesitation. If you have an IUD inserted, you should consult your doctor. If you are unable to remove the soft tampon, a visit to your gynaecologist is essential. ATTENTION: Only use each tampon once!
