Ipakitine® powder is a supplementary feed for dogs and cats to support kidney function in cases of special need.
The effect of Ipakitine unfolds in the gastrointestinal tract, where it influences the phosphate-calcium content. The calcium carbonate binds the phosphate in the food and thus prevents it from being processed by the kidneys. A lower intake of phosphorus reduces the risk of kidney problems. Chitosan absorbs uraemic toxins such as creatinine, urea, indoxyl sulphate and phosphate in the gastrointestinal tract, thereby reducing the burden on the kidneys. Ipakitine is very palatable and is generally well accepted.
Ipakitine® can be administered
- at the first symptoms of chronic kidney problems;
- at all stages of chronic kidney problems; in combination with a kidney diet; in combination with other treatment measures.

Mix 1g (1 spoon) / 5kg body weight into the feed twice daily.
Dose size / range 1 month for:
- IPAKITINE® 60g / 5 kg body weight
- IPAKITINE® 180g / 15 kg body weight
- IPAKITINE® 300g / 25 kg body weight
Tip: Water should be available at all times.

- Analytical constituents: crude ash 10%, crude protein 4%, calcium 3.7%, crude fibre 0.5%, crude oils and fats 0.5%.
