Hydrocoll® is a sterile, fast-absorbing hydrocolloid dressing for moist wound care. It is suitable for the treatment of wounds with low to moderate exudate levels, particularly those with a poor tendency to heal and prolonged granulation tissue formation.
An absorbent, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing with a semi-permeable, microbe-impermeable top layer, creates a moist wound environment through the gelation of the hydrocolloid components, with the gel remaining absorbent until the hydrocolloids are saturated; promotes granulation and epithelialisation without causing wound irritation; available in various designs and sizes.

Indications
For moist wound treatment of clinically uninfected wounds with low to moderate exudate, particularly in wounds with a poor tendency to heal and protracted granulation tissue formation, e.g. in the case of leg ulcers or pressure ulcers, and in second-degree burns. Hydrocoll sacral is used for pressure ulcers in the sacral region, whilst Hydrocoll concave is used on the heel or elbow.
