For decades, the horehound potion has been expertly produced at Posch according to the original recipe of Abbess Hildegard von Bingen. Organic herbs such as horehound, fennel and dill give the horehound potion its character. Even Hippocrates included horehound (Marrubium vulgare) in his list of the most important herbs. The Latin name for horehound comes from marrob (bitter juice) and refers to one of the five bitter herbs at the Jewish Passover.

How to use
Hildegard von Bingen recommends: Drink a slightly warmed liqueur glass (1/16 litre) several times a day. Enjoy 2 - 4 bottles of the pleasantly bitter-tasting horehound potion.
