HiPP tube feed with beef and courgette is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). A fully balanced standard formula based on natural foods, for adults and children aged 1 year and over.

Indications

• For dietary management in patients with an inability or limited ability to consume a sufficiently normal diet, or in cases of malnutrition caused by illness.

Nutrients

The main sources of nutrients are natural foods such as milk, beef, courgettes, parsnips and vegetable oils (rapeseed and sunflower oil). In addition to macro- and micronutrients, these foods also provide a wide range of other natural food constituents, such as phytochemicals, antioxidants and dietary fibre. No added flavourings, colourings, flavour enhancers or preservatives. To ensure a complete nutritional profile, the foods are fortified with vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Directions for use

• Dosage: The amount of nutrition is determined individually and according to need by the treating doctor. For adults on exclusive nutrition, a daily intake of ≥ 1500 kcal is recommended, depending on body weight.
• Precautions and contraindications: Not suitable in the event of an allergy or intolerance to any of the ingredients or constituents. Not suitable for parenteral nutrition.
