Krill oil Superba™ contains essential omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids and the natural antioxidant astaxanthin (which gives krill oil its deep red colour). The provision of the fatty acids as phospholipids means that krill oil has a significantly higher bioavailability than other "conventional" oils such as fish oil or cod liver oil. Spectrum of important active ingredients in krill oil: Omega 3 fatty acids: 28%, EPA: 12%, DHA: 5.5%, omega 6 fatty acids: 2%, phospholipids: 42%, choline: 5%, astaxanthin: 118 mg/kg (59µg per capsule) "Krill" comes from the Norwegian language and means "whale food". The Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) is a species from the Euphausiidae (krill) family that lives in the waters around the Antarctic. Krill are shrimp-like invertebrates that live in large shoals. The crustaceans feed on plankton. They reach a body length of approx. 6 cm and weigh up to 2 grams. As a food source for all larger animals in the Antarctic, such as whales and seals, they are the "energiser" in the Antarctic ecosystem. Take advantage of this positive energy for yourself! How to use

As a dietary supplement, take one to two capsules daily with plenty of water at mealtimes. Note: May contain traces of allergens (crustacean proteins). Caution! People with allergies to marine animals must not take krill oil. The recommended daily intake must not be exceeded. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Keep out of the reach of children.
