GreenFood Nutrition Shiitake Extract Capsules are a food supplement containing shiitake extract.
Shiitake is a mushroom from Lat. Lentinula edodes, which originates from Japan and is popular for its many beneficial ingredients. Shiitake is a natural source of β-glucans. It also contains eritadenine, which lowers blood cholesterol levels, as well as vitamins B2, B6 and D, copper, selenium, pantothenic acid, zinc and manganese. Its name consists of two words: shii = oak, take = mushroom, which indicates, among other things, that it is one of the mushrooms that grow on wood.
