Glandomed®, 500 ML

Glandomed is particularly well tolerated by sensitive oral mucosa or oral mucositis, as it contains no alcohol or irritating ingredients. The special mild ingredients (macrogols) of Glandomed® intensively moisten the oral mucosa and loosen plaque and incrustations during rinsing. Prevents infections and reduces plaque formation. Without alcohol, without menthol.

The mouth is the body's primary protective barrier against bacteria and viruses. Inflammation in the mouth and throat area causes an increased susceptibility to infections with pathogenic germs.

Symptoms:

• Typical symptoms are signs of inflammation with redness, overheating, swelling, pain and destruction of the mucosal cells. This is a stressful situation for the patient, which can last for several weeks if left untreated and acts as a catalyst for bacterial, mycotic and viral infections. The consequences of the inflammation of the mucous membrane are taste disorders, speech problems, pain, sleep disorders, anorexia, dehydration and malnutrition.

Aim of the application:

• The special composition of Glandomed leads to an efficient reduction of infections in clinical use. The good taste (orange flavour) and the absence of irritating substances result in a high level of acceptance among patients. Studies have demonstrated the cleansing and moisturising effect of Glandomed® on the oral mucosa.

Application

• Glandomed® is a ready-to-use, medicinal mouthwash solution and is used undiluted.
• After eating and before going to bed, the mouth is carefully rinsed with approx. 20 ml Glandomed (measuring cup on the cap).
• Glandomed should be moved back and forth in the mouth for 2 minutes and then spat out.
• Do not rinse with water and do not eat or drink for 15 minutes. Glandomed® can be used more often if necessary.
