Gall Pharma satiety capsules are a food supplement with 600 mg konjac flour per capsule. They are suitable for supportive intake during weight-reducing diets, provide a long-lasting feeling of satiety and stimulate intestinal activity.
The powder is characterised by its enormous swelling capacity. 1 g binds 200 ml of liquid. The result is a viscous solution. This coats the food arriving in the stomach and creates a feeling of fullness. Due to the coating, digestive enzymes can only convert an insignificant proportion of the food ingested. The majority of the fats and calories are excreted undigested. The swelling process of konjac flour stimulates intestinal activity. Regular consumption stimulates digestion and supports weight loss.
- Konjac flour is obtained from the tuber of the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac). The cultivation and harvesting of the tubers is a complex and complicated process. Over a period of four years, the tubers are planted in the soil in spring, taken out of the ground in August and stored before being planted out again the following spring. The tubers are only finally harvested in the fourth year. Konjac flour is extracted from these tubers using a special washing process.
