Gall Pharma Tyrosine Capsules are a dietary supplement containing 500 mg of L-tyrosine per capsule. The amino acid L-tyrosine supports the body’s natural production of adrenaline and may have a positive effect on learning ability and memory.
Tyrosine 500 mg GPH capsules contain 500 mg of L-tyrosine in a hard gelatine capsule. This amino acid is essential for the body for the following reasons: L-tyrosine is a building block or precursor to important substances in the body. L-tyrosine thus supports the body’s natural production of adrenaline. Furthermore, other neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and noradrenaline, are derived from this amino acid. It is therefore associated with benefits such as improved learning ability, memory and concentration, as well as the alleviation of fatigue. Together with iodine, it forms a precursor to thyroid hormones and is thus the building block for these important hormones. Among other things, L-tyrosine is also involved in the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour. It is also one of the amino acids essential for the formation of red and white blood cells.
L-tyrosine
- Amino acids are the basic building blocks of the body’s own proteins. They are also of great importance for a wide range of metabolic processes. L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid, which means that the body can produce it in sufficient quantities itself. Together with L-tryptophan and L-phenylalanine, it belongs to the group of aromatic amino acids. In the human body, L-tyrosine is very easily produced in the liver from L-phenylalanine. Numerous important endogenous substances are formed from L-tyrosine within the body. As with most amino acids, the foods with the highest L-tyrosine content are meat products.

- Note: Should not be taken together with MAO inhibitors.

- L-tyrosine; anti-caking agents: talc, magnesium salts of fatty acids; humectant: glycerine, sodium carboxymethylcellulose ; capsule shell: gelatine; colouring agents in the capsule shell: titanium dioxide, iron oxide, Ponceau 4R, quinoline yellow, Patent Blue V (May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children!)
