Gall Pharma Passiflora Capsules are a dietary supplement containing 289 mg of passion flower herb extract per capsule. Passion flower is used to calm the mind and body, to relieve inner restlessness, and to help with difficulty falling asleep.
The above-ground, flower- or fruit-bearing parts of this plant are used, which contain up to 2% flavonoids. Other typical constituents include coumarins, polysaccharides and maltol. The calming properties of passion flower were already known to the Native Americans and are attributed to the secondary plant compounds known as flavonoids.
