Gall Pharma L-cystine powder is a dietary supplement with approx. 2000 mg L-cystine per daily dose. The amino acid can prevent hair loss, improves hair structure and density, promotes healthy skin and strengthens nails.
L-cystine is the stable form of the amino acid L-cysteine. It is an important source of bound sulphur for the human organism. If necessary, the body can convert cystine and cysteine into each other. The amino acid is very important in the formation of cartilage, bones and skin, and is particularly abundant in nails and hair. L-cystine is present in 12% of keratin, the main protein in hair and nails. Hair loss is often due to a lack of L-cystine. A cysteine deficiency can also have a negative effect on the appearance of the skin and impair wound healing. Supplementing with L-cystine GPH powder has proven effective for hair loss, brittle nails and problems with connective tissue. The L-cystine used is not of animal origin and is obtained by acid hydrolysis of keratins.
