Gall Pharma L-arginine capsules are a dietary supplement containing 500 mg L-arginine per capsule. The amino acid supports the treatment of erectile dysfunction and can increase potency, detoxifies the body and optimises immune function.

L-arginine is a semi-essential amino acid and is mainly found in foods with a high protein content. Semi-essential amino acids are amino acids for which the body's own production is not always sufficient. These are mainly stressful situations, such as during training or under stress. In this case, they should be supplied to the body specifically with food or by means of a dietary supplement.

L-arginine is predominantly found in egg white, abundantly in peanut protein (11%) and in free form in many plant foods. It is the main component of collagen, elastin, haemoglobin, insulin and glucagon.

L-arginine is important for muscle metabolism and in this context has a key function in the storage, transport and excretion of nitrogen. Creatine, one of the energy-rich compounds of the muscles, is produced from L-arginine. L-arginine also plays an important role in liver metabolism. As a supplier of NO, this amino acid, together with L-lysine, is crucial for lymphocyte proliferation. L-arginine therefore has a strengthening effect on the immune system.

Research into L-arginine for erectile dysfunction has shown that, preferably at 5,000 mg (but at least 3,000 mg per day), it can provide decent results for increasing potency. Side effects are not to be expected.
