Iron is an essential trace element. It is mainly found in meat, fish, poultry, cereal and dairy products. This trace element plays an important role in the human metabolism because it is involved in a large number of reactions. For example, it is involved in the vital transport of oxygen in the body. A lack of iron can result in anaemia, tiredness, exhaustion and a reduced ability to concentrate. Iron 14 mg + vitamin C GPH capsules contain the combination of Ferrochel®, an iron bisglycinate from Albion, and natural vitamin C from the acerola cherry. The vitamin C increases the bioavailability of iron and thus helps to compensate for a possible iron deficiency
