Gall Pharma Glycine Capsules are a food supplement containing 500 mg glycine per capsule. The amino acid promotes cartilage formation in the joints, supports the immune system and the body's defences and regulates blood sugar levels.

Glycine is one of the three amino acids involved in the synthesis of L-glutathione. L-glutathione is a tripeptide consisting of L-cysteine, L-glutamine and glycine and is one of nature's most important antioxidants. Glycine is stored in the organism and serves as a reservoir for the formation of non-essential amino acids. This amino acid is important in promoting wound healing and restoring damaged tissue, for example in the case of severe physical damage, burns or sports injuries. Glycine also promotes the formation of haemoglobin. This amino acid can itself be converted into creatine in the body, which is a key factor for muscle activity and therefore for sporting activity. Glycine is also involved in detoxification reactions in the liver. The advantage of this amino acid is that it is harmless and is well tolerated even in large doses.
