Gall Pharma Gluti-Agil® 400 mg capsules are a food supplement containing glutamine, a non-essential amino acid produced naturally by the body.
Gluti-Agil® capsules contain 400 mg of the amino acid L-glutamic acid. The non-essential amino acid L-glutamic acid acts as a neurotransmitter in the body and therefore has a direct influence on the metabolic processes of nerve cells. Consequently, L-glutamic acid plays a key role in concentration and memory function and helps regulate symptoms of tiredness and fatigue. Furthermore, in biosynthesis, L-glutamic acid is a precursor to proline, hydroxyproline and ornithine, and is a building block for coenzyme A and folic acid. In the central nervous system (CNS), glutamic acid is converted into the inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has a calming effect.
