Gluti-Agil® capsules contain 400 mg of the amino acid L-glutamic acid. The non-essential amino acid L-glutamic acid acts as a neurotransmitter in the body and therefore has a direct influence on the metabolic processes of nerve cells. L-glutamic acid therefore plays an important role in concentration and memory performance and regulates symptoms of tiredness and fatigue. In addition, L-glutamic acid is a precursor of proline, hydroxyproline and ornithine in biosynthesis and is a building block for coenzyme A and folic acid. In the central nervous system (CNS), glutamic acid is converted into the antagonistic neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which has a calming effect
