Black elderberry is rich in tannins and mucilage. The berries of the black elderberry contain the purple pigment sambucyanin. This is found predominantly in the skins of the berries and, as a free radical scavenger, is said to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and support the immune system. In addition, Holunderbeer 350 mg GPH capsules provide a rich source of anthocyanins, which are known as natural antioxidants.
