Gall Pharma Cinnamon + Chromium Capsules, 750 ST

Gall Pharma Cinnamon + Chromium Capsules are a food supplement with cinnamon extract corresponding to 2.2 g cinnamon, 200 µg chromium and 50 mg vitamin C per capsule. Support normal blood sugar levels, blood lipid levels and strengthen the immune system.

Studies show that consuming 3 - 6 g of cinnamon per day lowers blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes. A positive effect on the blood lipids LDL cholesterol, triglycerides and total cholesterol has also been described. The molecule influencing the blood glucose level appears to be the flavonoid methyl hydroxyl chalcone polymer (MHCP). MHCP in cinnamon has a synergistic insulin-boosting effect in combination with insulin. Trivalent chromium is a component of the glucose tolerance factor (GTF). This controls the binding of insulin to the specific insulin receptor on the cell membrane. Chromium therefore activates - insulin-dependently - the transport of glucose into the cell, which lowers the blood sugar level. Organic chromium compounds (chromium yeast) are better absorbed by the body than inorganic ones. Vitamin C increases the absorption of chromium. Cinnamon + Chromium GPH Capsules are a dietary food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of diabetes mellitus type II.
