Propolis is a high-quality forest & meadow natural product. Thanks to its antibacterial, antiviral and fungicidal properties, propolis is an important protective substance for bees.
Propolis is obtained by bees from essential oils, resins, balsams and beeswax. Propolis has been valued as the "antibiotic of bees" since time immemorial. It is also known as the bees' putty resin. Worker bees collect balsams and resins from buds, tree bark and leaves and knead them into a viscous substance with which they repair cracks in the hive and disinfect it almost germ-free.
