Flocare® PURSOFT probe CH 5-60 cm, 10 ST

The Flocare® PURSOFT tube CH 5-60 cm is a gentle and careful feeding solution for patients who are dependent on enteral nutrition. The soft and flexible tip ensures a comfortable insertion process.

The Flocare® PURSOFT tube is a transparent, transnasal tube made of polyurethane (PUR). It is suitable for short to medium-term use of up to 6 weeks. The tube is equipped with the ENFit connector and is therefore incompatible with Luer and ENLock connectors.

Features

• All Flocare® PURSOFT probes are made of a biostable, plasticiser-free polyurethane material. They are suitable as economical standard feeding tubes for short to medium-term feeding therapy (approx. 6 weeks)
• Open distal tube tip to reduce the risk of bacterial contamination due to an accumulation of food residues
• Thickened, oval-bolus-shaped atraumatic tube tip for complication-free placement of the tube
• Two lateral, round tube exit holes near the distal end with soft edges to ensure feeding into the stomach
• Soft tube material for complication-free placement of the tube - even without a stylet (kink resistance)
• Smaller, child-friendly ENFit™ connector for safe and standard-compliant feeding
• Shortened retaining tab on the sealing cap to minimise accidental removal of the feeding tube
• Free from harmful substances and plasticisers (PVC, DEHP and BPA) for use without changing the material
• Length markings every cm for precise placement
• 3 white X-ray contrast strips for uncomplicated and safe position control of the probe

Application

Use: short to medium term (up to 6 weeks). Start feeding after checking the position, either radiologically or by aspiration of gastric juice > pH value measurement (pH value < 4).
