Fixomull® stretch is used for flexible and simple fixation of wound dressings.
Applying and fixing dressings requires maximum adaptability and flexibility in the operating theatre, on the ward and in outpatient care. With Fixomull® stretch, large-area dressings in particular can be fixed quickly and easily. Thanks to the customised cut, the method saves on materials and costs.
Thanks to its transverse elasticity, Fixomull® stretch is supple and adapts well even to highly contoured areas of the body. Strangulation, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented. Fixomull® stretch has good immediate and permanent adhesive strength and good air and water vapour permeability. It prevents contamination, is also excellently tolerated by skin-sensitive patients and is easy and versatile to use. Fixomull® stretch is particularly economical in the 20 metre roll.
Fixomull® stretch consists of a polyester nonwoven coated with polyacrylate adhesive.
