Femibion 1 early pregnancy tablets are tailored to your specific nutritional needs from the start of pregnancy until the end of the first trimester.* Early pregnancy up to the end of the 12th week.

Give your baby a good start in life by eating a balanced diet. Femibion® 1 is specially formulated to meet your needs from the start of pregnancy until the end of the first trimester. With 800 µg of folate to effectively build up folate levels in the first weeks of pregnancy.*

As well as 800 µg of folate boosters (folic acid and Metafolin®), Femibion® 1 contains vitamin D and other important nutrients: 9 vitamins (B vitamins, vitamins C and E), iodine, selenium, choline and iron.

Femibion® 1 Early Pregnancy is available in two pack sizes: a 4-week pack and an 8-week pack.

Women in the first trimester of pregnancy have specific nutritional needs. With Femibion® 1 Early Pregnancy, you receive essential nutrients that specifically support you and your unborn baby during this crucial stage of life. The combination of nutrients is based on the latest scientific findings and was developedin collaboration with nutrition experts .
According to official recommendations, you should take additional folic acid before and during your pregnancy.*
Femibion® 1 Early Pregnancy offers you a special combination of two
folate sources (folic acid and Metafolin®). Folic acid is converted into active folate in the body in order to fully unleash its beneficial properties. However, this activation process does not work optimally in all women. The premium form of folate, Metafolin®, does not require any additional activation and can therefore be fully utilisedby almost every woman.
Femibion® 1 Early Pregnancy contains vitamin D to support your intake during pregnancy. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and plays a role in cell division.
Femibion® 1 Early Pregnancy also contains other selected nutrients, including 9 vitamins (B vitamins, vitamins C and E), iodine, selenium, iron and choline.
Ironcontributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and helps reduce tiredness.
Choline contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism.

*Folate (folic acid and Metafolin®)contributes to normal blood formation, cell division and the growth of the placenta during pregnancy. The placenta supplies your unborn baby with essential nutrients. Taking folic acid supplements increases folate levels in pregnant women. Low folate levels in pregnant women are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. To address this, an additional 400 μg of folic acid should be taken daily for a period of at least one month before and up to three months after conception. A neural tube defect is caused by several risk factors. Changing one risk factor may or may not have a positive effect. There are other factors that can increasethe risk of a neural tube defect independently of this .

Active ingredients

FOLIC ACID Isa synthetically produced B vitamin that the body converts into bioactive folate. Folate contributes to normal blood formation, cell division and the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.
METAFOLIN® is a premium form of folic acid that can be utilised optimally by almost all women.
CHOLINE contributesto normal homocysteine metabolism, which is also important during pregnancy. Your choline requirements are increased during pregnancy.
IODINE contributesto the normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function.
VITAMIN D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and plays a role in cell division.
VITAMIN B1, VITAMIN B2 AND BIOTIN contribute to normal energy metabolism and normal nervous system function.
VITAMIN B6, VITAMIN B12, NIACIN AND PANTOTHENIC ACID help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
VITAMIN C AND SELENIUM contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
IRON contributesto the normal formation of red blood cells and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
VITAMIN E helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

Take 1 tablet per day with a meal, with sufficient cold liquid. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.
