Product information "Father Severin vine leaves spray"
Pater Severin Grape Leaf Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of grape leaves.
Grape leaves are the leaves of the grapevine. They contain flavonoids, and their red colour is due to anthocyanins. Grape leaves were already in use by the Sumerians as early as 2000 BC and are also mentioned by Hippocrates, Galen and Hildegard von Bingen. These traditional works describe applications relating to the entire vascular system. Today, descriptions of red grape leaves can be found in several European pharmacopoeias. Traditional areas of application continue to include heavy legs and other conditions affecting the vascular system.
