Father Severin purple loosestrife spray, 50 ml

Product information "Father Severin purple loosestrife spray"

Pater Severin Purple Loosestrife Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of purple loosestrife.

Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) contains, amongst other things, essential oil, tannins and glycosides. The plant has been used as a medicinal herb since ancient times. Owing to its high tannin content, purple loosestrife is used in folk medicine to treat diarrhoea and eczema, and as a haemostatic agent. Its use as a haemostatic remedy gave the plant its name.
