Father Severin’s Stinging Nettle Spray is a traditional herbal remedy, produced according to an ancient monastic recipe, and contains an aqueous/alcoholic extract of stinging nettle.
Stinging nettles (Urtica dioica L.) were long regarded as a weed. Today, both the leaves and the roots of the plant are used for detoxification and diuretic purposes due to their nutritional content (primarily iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium and phosphorus, as well as vitamin C and silicic acid). They support the immune system, soothe the urinary tract and calm irritated, sensitive skin following insect bites and sunbathing. Nettle extract promotes blood circulation, strengthens blood vessels and promotes hair growth.
