Father Severin’s stinging nettle drops are a traditional natural remedy, produced according to an old monastic recipe and containing an aqueous/alcoholic extract of stinging nettle.
Stinging nettles (Urtica dioica L.) were long regarded as weeds. Today, both the leaves and the roots of the plant are used for detoxification and diuretic purposes due to their nutritional content (primarily iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium and phosphorus, vitamin C and silicic acid). They support the immune system, soothe the urinary tract and calm irritated, sensitive skin following insect bites and sunbathing. Nettle extract promotes blood circulation, strengthens blood vessels and encourages hair growth.
