Chickweed is a herbaceous, ubiquitous plant with small white flowers. It contains many substances such as vitamins, saponins, flavonoids, coumarins, minerals and oxalic acid. Its use in folk medicine is varied and ranges from the respiratory tract to joints and the urinary tract. The generally cleansing and strengthening effects can still be utilised today
