Pater Severin Frangula Bark Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is made from a 100 per cent aqueous/alcoholic extract of frangula bark.
The buckthorn (Rhamnus frangula L.) belongs to the buckthorn family (Rhamnaceae). The dried and matured bark of the trunks and branches is used as buckthorn bark (Frangulae cortex). It supports the large intestine and acts as a mild laxative.
