Father Severin blueberry leaf spray, 50 ml

Product information "Father Severin blueberry leaf spray"

Pater Severin Blueberry Leaf Spray is a dietary supplement made according to an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of bilberry leaves.

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L.), also known as blueberry, belongs to the heather family (Ericaceae). Bilberry leaves contain catechin tannins, flavonoids, iridoids and phenolcarboxylic acids. Hildegard von Bingen already knew about the positive effects of bilberries on the intestinal mucosa. Due to the astringent properties of the tannins contained in the leaves, they are often used to treat inflammation of the mouth and throat.
