Yarrow has a wide range of applications in naturopathy and is one of the oldest plants used for medicinal purposes. In folk medicine, the plant is used as an aromatic bitter to treat stomach, gallbladder and liver complaints, thanks to its appetite-stimulating, anti-inflammatory and disinfectant properties. Its high potassium content stimulates kidney function.
