Pater Severin Yacon Root Spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of yacon root.
Yacon is a perennial plant from the Asteraceae family. It is related to the Jerusalem artichoke and, like the latter, forms edible root tubers. The yacon plant has a high oligofructose content. Oligofructose serves as a sugar substitute and is therefore of particular interest to diabetics. Furthermore, the digestive enzymes cannot break down this oligofructose. The plant is therefore also used to treat digestive disorders such as constipation, flatulence and flatulence, as well as to regulate lipid metabolism and in type II diabetes.
