The Pater Severin meadow goat's beard spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. It is made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of meadow goatee.

Meadow goatee belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). The herb is said to have anti-inflammatory, astringent and antipyretic properties. In folk medicine, meadow goatsbeard is mainly used to help with colds and rheumatic complaints. It is also said to have a mild diaphoretic effect.
