Father Severin’s Tormentil Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The Tormentil Drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract from the tormentil rhizome.
The tormentil rhizome (Potenilla erecta) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). The active constituents of Potenilla erecta primarily include tannins, as well as flavonoids (kaempferol) and triterpenes. The tormentil rhizome is said to possess anti-inflammatory, astringent and germ-reducing properties and is therefore used in the treatment of inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat, and for diarrhoea.
