Pater Severin Tormentill Spray is a dietary supplement for oral use, based on an ancient monastic recipe. It is produced from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of the tormentil rhizome
The tormentil rhizome (Potenilla erecta) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). The active constituents of Potenilla erecta primarily include tannins, as well as flavonoids (kaempferol) and triterpenes. The tormentil rhizome is said to possess anti-inflammatory, astringent and germicidal properties and is therefore used in the treatment of inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat, and for diarrhoea.
