The Pater Severin Theriak Spray is an oral dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe. It is made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of theriac.
Theriac was praised as a panacea or "miracle cure" in ancient times. Theriac was used particularly as an antidote for snake bites, but also for other health complaints such as infectious or heart diseases. In Venice, the preparation of Venetian theriac or Theriak venezian was ceremonised in the presence of the highest authorities with great pomp and ceremony.
