Father Severin’s Tarragon Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The tarragon drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of tarragon.
Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) belongs to the Asteraceae family and is related to wormwood. Traditionally, the young shoots or leaves are used, which can be harvested several times a year. The main constituents are essential oils (estragole, ocimene), flavonoids, tannins and bitter compounds. Tarragon is said to aid digestion and bile flow, as well as having a diuretic effect. It is therefore used to treat loss of appetite, weak digestion, flatulence and sluggish kidney function.
