The dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is also known as the buttercup, cow flower, may flower or dandelion. The plant was already a well-known and frequently used medicinal herb in ancient times. Dandelion has appetising, draining, metabolism-stimulating and antispasmodic properties. It is mainly used to treat digestive problems, loss of appetite and water retention.
