Pater Severin Senna Spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from a 100 % aqueous/alcoholic extract of senna fruits.
Senna fruits are the fruits of the senna bush (Senna alexandrina). They contain sennosides (anthraquinone glycosides) and mucilage. Sennosides are natural prodrugs, which means that they are not changed by the digestive system in the body, but only in the rectum. More fluid is then released there and the movement of the intestines increases. The burning bush in the Bible was identified as a senna bush
