Pater Severin Sanguisorbis Spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. Made from an aqueous/alcoholic extract of meadow button herb.
The meadow button (Sanguisorba officinalis L.) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). It contains triterpene saponins (e.g. sanguisorbin), tannins and flavonoids. It has always been said to have a haemostatic effect. In folk medicine, it is said to have favourable effects on inflammation of the mouth and throat.
