Rosehips are the fruits of the dog rose (Rosa canina L.). Rose hips have a high vitamin C content. It also contains polyphenols, fruit acids, provitamin A, vitamin E, manganese and boron. Lycopene gives this fruit its red colour. It is particularly valued for strengthening the immune system, for colds and spring fatigue.
