Rooibos, or redbush, is a plant species native to South Africa. Rooibos tea is rich in flavonoids, which give the tea its reddish colour. The rooibos tea ointment has antioxidant properties and can be used on superficial wounds and mild sunburn. The ointment is also suitable for babies and young children to soothe irritated skin.
