The Father Severin Pu Erh Black Tea Spray is a dietary supplement based on an old monastery recipe for ingestion. It is made from a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of black tea and Pu Erh tea.
Puh Erh is a type of tea produced in the southern Chinese province of Yunnan from leaves of the Assam variety of the tea plant. Pu Erh tea has been used for centuries to harmonise the gastrointestinal tract. The characteristic ingredient of black tea is caffeine. It also contains essential oils and tannins. The tannins have constipating, anti-inflammatory and soothing properties on the gastrointestinal tract and black tea can therefore be used to treat diarrhoea.
