Pater Severin Primrose Root Drops are a dietary supplement for oral use. The primrose root drops contain a high-quality aqueous/alcoholic extract of primrose root in a ratio of 1:5.
The primrose has two medically valuable plant parts, namely the root, which is rich in saponins, and the flowers together with their calyxes. Saponins are plant substances that liquefy viscous mucus and can therefore prevent inflammation. The root drug is said to be good for inflammation of the respiratory tract and persistent (chronic) bronchitis, but it can also have positive effects on insomnia, headaches and dizziness.
